The PU Pneumatic Seal is a precision component for pneumatic cylinders and low-to-medium pressure air control systems. Its compact lip profile enables smooth actuation with low friction, suitable for high-cycle applications. Manufactured from high-grade polyurethane, it offers good wear resistance, low compression set, and stable sealing force over time. Though intended for pneumatics, it also works as a light-duty hydraulic seal for cylinders, pumps, pistons, and shafts. Common uses include industrial automation, assembly lines, packaging machinery, and material handling systems where durable, reliable sealing is required.

Manufacturing Process
■ Polyurethane Seals
Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) seals are produced by injection molding, suitable for high-volume production. Cast polyurethane (CPU) seals are made by pouring liquid raw material into a mold and curing with heat. This method is better suited for large, low-volume, high-wear-resistance seals with special cross-sections. Post-processing includes flash removal, lip grinding, and cryogenic deburring.
■ PTFE Composite Seals
A common process is pressure-sintering-turning: PTFE powder is cold-pressed into a tube blank, sintered at high temperature, and then machined on a CNC lathe to form the precise cross-section and stepped grooves of the slip ring. The finished ring is assembled with an O-ring. Some designs can also be direct-molded from filled PTFE material to a near-net shape, followed by finish machining.
■ Rubber Parts (O-rings, Elastomers)
Compounded rubber is molded and vulcanized in a flat vulcanizing press, then trimmed and subjected to two-stage vulcanization.
■ Retaining Rings
POM or PA retaining rings are commonly produced by injection molding. Thick-section or spiral retaining rings are typically made by turning or spiral cutting from bar stock.
